Wild card Xavi Simeon got one World Championship point in the last round of the season for the Holiday Gym G22 team. The Belgium who will be the main rider next season for Holiday Gym Racing team had a bad start, but then battled in a very tight group. Last few laps with Yonny Hernandez were quite intense. Fonsi Nieto suffered a crash during the first few laps and he couldn’t finish the race. Yannick Guerra crossed the line 31st after running out of the track. But he left some riders behind.

Mixed feelings for Holiday Gym G22 team during qualifying practice for the final Grand Prix of the season in Valencia. Xavier Simeon finished 19th after a quite good session where he improved his lap times from yesterday. But the Belgium rider could even get better if he didn’t find a lot of traffic on the track. Anyway he is looking forward to have a good race tomorrow, make a good start and fight for the best possible result. In the other hand are Fonsi Nieto and Yannick Guerra. The first one still with problems on his bike and he also found a new ligament injury in his left hand sustained in Indianapolis back in August. Yannick Guerra improved his pace but he’s not yet where he wanted to be. But he’ll try his best in tomorrow’s race.

Bad day for Holiday Gym G22 riders in Valencia. Xavier Simeon and Fonsi Nieto were not able to improve from this morning session and they are 30th and 33rd in the provisional Moto2 grid. Simeon found some problems to get the fastest pace with the softer tyre compound. Yannick Guerra improved compared to this morning´s session, but not as much as he expected.
